Entre los estados de EE.UU., Hawai es el m\u00e1s adecuado para producir caf\u00e9, ya que est\u00e1 situado junto al ecuador y tiene abundantes volcanes que contribuyen a la riqueza del suelo volc\u00e1nico. El caf\u00e9 se produce en varias de las islas hawaianas, pero la mayor parte del caf\u00e9 producido en el estado se concentra en una peque\u00f1a zona. Aunque los cafetos se plantaron inicialmente en la isla de Oahu, los agricultores descubrieron r\u00e1pidamente que la producci\u00f3n de caf\u00e9 se adaptaba mejor a las condiciones de la gran isla de Hawai.
