Westrock Coffee - How to use an Aeropress

An Aeropress is the perfect travel brewer because it can make a nice cup of espresso OR a full cup of coffee. Its slender, durable design makes it easy to pack in a carryon. It is also just as easy to clean up as an automatic brewer.

Instructions

1. Place small paper filter on top of the round cap attached to the bottom of the brewer.

2. Rinse the filter with water. Screw back onto the bottom of the brewer.

3. Add in desired amount of coffee and water, then stir.
For espresso, add in 18g of coffee or a heaping (aeropress-provided) scoop of coffee. Fill the water up to the (1) mark.
For a cup of coffee, add in 14g – 20g of coffee or a heaping (aeropress-provided) scoop of coffee. Fill the water up to the (4) mark.

4. Place the plunger in the brewer and pull up just a little bit to create suction and let the coffee sit for about one minute.

5. Push the plunger down until you hear a long hiss.

6. To clean up, unscrew the black bottom and push the plunger down. The coffee and filter should pop out with no mess.
